Welcome!
Hello,
My name is Ryan Rose Weaver. I’m an experienced writer, editor and teacher (and, as you can tell from the photo above, a big fan of gnocchi). After beginning my journalism career in Boston’s tech/new media scene (while contributing liberally to my favorite old media publications), I moved to South Korea to pursue my interests in food, education and travel. As of fall 2011, I’ve relocated to Western New York to be closer to family (and, let’s be honest, closer to Ted’s Hot Dogs. Have you tried their onion rings?).
Throughout my career, I’ve jumped at the chance to say yes to great people and great projects. As a journalist raised by two activist social workers, I’m happiest when I’m pitching story ideas that capture the next zeitgeist, and/or writing service pieces that help people to capture their potential. As a copywriter and web consultant, I also thrive on helping others take their ideas from rough sketches to inspiring reality. And as a teacher, I love creating projects that teach people how to empower themselves through writing and other media (i.e., gnocchi).
Are you a great person with a great project? Shoot me an email at ryanrose [dot] weaver [at] gmail [dot] com. I’d love to hear from you.
